Andy Rae: Creating, Interpreting and Building Cosplay Designs

This panel deals with the process of analyzing original art to create cosplay. This means that I will be covering methods used to create a design from original 2D concept art, interpret the design and finally build from that design to a 3D life size scale. I will be covering the practical methods I use to create or commission a design from an artist, build based on reference kits and how to translate game, comic or anime characters into reality. I will be using my armour builds as analogs for this panel, incorporating the original designs, commissioned designs, my own patterns and then the final builds to explain this concept visually.
